Last Saturday, I had just about changed into my sleepwear when I got an SMS from KY.
“yum cha? lol .. come laaa PJ
ss3 is best! i belanja you the best kam heong lala evar!”
I am allergic to lala lar but who can resist such a heartfelt offer? Moreover, I remember having asked KY to teach me how to get the GPS system for my N95 up and running ever since I read his post about it. My N95 is similar to his N82 so I figured no problems lar … 
Being extremely bad at directions & geographically challenged to boot, I SMSed him for directions to his place. Walau, my head started spinning when I got the reply. Turn here. Turn there. Pass LRT station. I confused.
Anyway, long story short .. I managed to arrive at his place relative unscathed and while waiting for him to get ready, I went to go take a look at his fehmes koi pond.
Seriously, KY’s koi is really, really big! I was quite impressed. Back home in my hometown, my mother has a koi pond as well and while I thought her fish was big, KY’s fish are bigger!!
We walked to some mamak place near his house .. I have no idea where it is but according to KY, it’s got the best lala ever. Like I mentioned earlier, I can’t eat lala so KY got to eat the whole lot by himself while I dolefully drank my ais kosong. Over the makan, we chatted .. this is actually my first time yum cha-ing with KY alone so we had plenty to talk about.
One of the things he mentioned was that he says I am always very angry on my blog. Honestly, I am not really that angry about stuff in real life but I have a very stressful job, which I slog at for 12 hours a day on average under a very strict boss. At work, I have so many responsibilities that I always have to maintain a calm and efficient exterior where I suppress my emotions all in the name of professionalism.
So when I blog, I let fly with my sentiments wherever my fancy takes me. After all, I’ve always said that this blog does not practice democracy. So I get to do whatever I want so long as it’s legal.
Sometimes, a woman just needs to rant y’know?
ESPECIALLY SINCE THIS WOMAN HAS BEEN ON A DIET FOR LIKE FOREVER! A hungry woman is an angry woman wtf…..
So don’t worry. I’m a whole lot nicer in real life. Most of the time anyways! 
Back to our yum char, KY and I did the whole chat-chat thing and the whole gossip-gossip thing and then we went back to his place where he set up my GPS for me. HURRAY!!
Now if I can just figure out how to stop it from waking me up in the middle of the night when I’m asleep with a “turn left and drive for 60 m” in a female robotic voice and scaring the panties off me, that would be fantastic.
Then after that, we got hungry again!!! Man, being out and about with the man behind one of the most popular food blogs around can be detrimental to your diet. So after waiting for him to finish packing for his Krabi trip the next day, we went to Ming Tien where I had Tandoori Chicken because the Bah Kut Teh shop had closed.
KY YAWNS! It was already quite late when we got to Ming Tien so after a quick bite, I dropped him off at his place and finally drove home with a happy heart because I finally have GPS.
Now if only I can figure out what is going to happen if I click this little icon over here ……

Is it just me or are Malaysian women a lot more angsty these days? Especially the single ones without the solace of combined income and a shoulder to lean on.

B.H.: Confirmed it is just you. Your comment is a very ignorant comment … and can be construed as being offensive to women. There is no solace in a combined income because a combined income also means combined expenses. Just because you’re single, doesn’t mean you don’t have a shoulder to lean on. My girlfriends have always been much better listeners then ANY guy I’ve ever dated. Women, single or not, will always be angsty .. if you’ve EVER been with a woman (the prostitutes don’t count ya?), you’d know that. After all, our very own celebrated Malaysian Queen of Angst will be getting married at the end of this year. Hahaha!

I do not see the need to take offense should my statement be unfounded. A bit touchy, perhaps? Or are you all too eager to flex your feminist muscle?
I also find your assumption regarding ladies of the night to be most disturbing. Do they not deserve the same amount of respect as the rest of your gender?
I certainly did not mean to launch an affront but you seem to have exposed your own bitter sentiments and assumptions regarding men in general.

Haha! My dear dear B.H. I am not the one angry lar haiyoh. I am merely telling you what I think about your comment as factually as I can i.e. that I think your presumption that women that are single are more angsty because they don’t have a man is sheer rubbish .. and insulting to women.
In what way have I been disrespectful to ladies of the night? I am merely stating that they have no time to be angsty with you because they are too busy working. I think that just reflects really well on their level of professionalism and drive to ensure customer satisfaction.
There are no bitter sentiments nor assumptions. There is no anger in my reply. There was no offense taken. All of that are from you.
